All aboard, beer lovers! The lineup for Pint of Origin 2024 is locked and loaded.
Australia’s biggest, longest, most delicious, and diverse pub crawl returns to Melbourne for a 12th time from May 10 to 19 – offering one seriously tasty experience.
The 2024 festival features a blend of old #PoO24 favorites, some with new host regions, fresh faces, and a couple of past Pint of Origin venues returning after a hiatus.
In a festival first, Whisky and Alement join the fold, becoming the Pint of Origin Boilermaker Hub, showcasing beer and whisky pairings from around the globe.
Debutants include Heartbreaker, representing the beers and brewers of Canada, and CoConspirators Brewpub, featuring breweries of the Territories and collaborations with the CoCon brewers.
Home state brewers are represented differently, with regional Victorian brewers at The Cherry Tree, while Greater Melbourne brewers split across two pubs: Freddie Wimpoles in St Kilda for brewers from South of the Yarra, and The Terminus in Fitzroy North for those North of the Yarra.
The full Pint of Origin website will go live in April, granting visitors the opportunity to apply for a Pint of Origin Passport, discover which breweries will be featured at each venue, and explore the events planned by the host venues throughout the ten days of tap takeovers.
For the time being, enthusiasts are encouraged to mark their calendars, spread the word, and prepare for a global beer adventure across 21 fantastic Melbourne venues.
