US stand up comedian and actor, Felipe Esparza, is headed to Australia in August. He’ll be bringing his Beyond Borders tour to the Comic’s Lounge in North Melbourne on Saturday 3 August.
Felipe rose to prominence after winning NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in 2010. While this achievement undoubtedly opened doors and expanded his fan base nationwide, it’s his relentless dedication and recent focus that have solidified his enduring success.
With three hit stand-up specials on Netflix and HBO, alongside his consistently popular “What’s Up Fool? Podcast,” Felipe has firmly established himself. His sold-out tour dates across the USA are a testament to his widespread appeal.
Transitioning into TV and film, Felipe has become a familiar face on screen. He has delighted audiences with recurring roles on shows like “Superstore,” “The Eric Andre Show,” “Gentefied,” and “Victor and Valentino.” His film credits include notable works such as “Guest House” alongside Pauly Shore, “7th & Union” with Omar Chaparro, “Daddy Daughter Trip” featuring Rob Schneider, and “You People,” sharing the screen with Eddie Murphy and Jonah Hill.
