Famous Finnish design house Marimekko, known for its iconic prints and vibrant colors, has launched a pop-up café, nestled within its Chapel Street store in South Yarra.
This exciting café launch coincides with the 60th anniversary of Marimekko’s beloved Unikko pattern and will be part of the streetscape until Sunday 9 June.
Set in the lively heart of Chapel Street, renowned for its cultural richness, the Marimekko pop-up café aims to infuse the area with its signature blend of bold hues, distinctive patterns, and Scandinavian-inspired charm.
Patrons can expect an immersive experience, drawing inspiration from Marimekko’s iconic floral print. From the café’s décor to its menu offerings, guests will be enveloped in the brand’s six-decade legacy of creativity and innovation.
Throughout the pop-up’s duration, visitors will have the pleasure of indulging in a specially curated menu. Dukes Coffee Roasters, an Australian organic specialty coffee roaster, will supply the coffee, while Mörk will provide delectable freshly baked treats alongside their famous hot chocolate.
