Puffing Billy is Australia’s most iconic steam train, that chugs through the lush Dandenong Ranges, offering a nostalgic journey through time. With its vintage carriages and scenic routes, it’s a beloved attraction for tourists and locals alike, providing a charming experience steeped in history and natural beauty.
Kick off your day at Emerald Lake Park, where you and your furry friends can roam wild on the winding trails. Then, hop onto the dog-friendly carriages at Lakeside Station and let the fun begin!
With space for two pups per booking, enjoy a 40-minute journey through the untouched Wright State Forest, cruising over historic timber trestle bridges, including a jaw-dropping 60-metre-long stunner towering 15 metres high! As the train chugs towards Gembrook, soak in the breathtaking scenery.
