Liminal magazine and the Wheeler Centre have joined forces to launch the inaugural Liminal Festival for readers and writers at the Wheeler Centre from 2-4 August 2024.
The three-day event will feature some of Australia’s most talented writers, artists and thinkers who will span topics such as language under occupation, the function of literary criticism in the 21st century, the future of noels in Australia, the process of comic making and the transformation of poetry – and more.
Liminal is a Melbourne based project that aims to support writers and artists with a focus on the Asian Australian experience.
In conjunction with the in-person festival program, Liminal has also curated a series of digital events from some of their favourite writers at home and overseas.
