Internationally acclaimed Aussie rockers Jet are set to join forces with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and conductor Nicholas Buc to rock the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for a one-off concert, exclusive to Melbourne.
This will be Jet’s first foray into the world of symphony orchestras, and they’ll be performing a string of classic singles and timeless tracks arranged for the orchestra in their hometown.
Expect to hear their hits like Are You Gonna Be My Girl Cold Hard Bitch, Look What You’ve Done, Rollover DJ and Get Me Outta Here like you’ve never head them before.
Formed in 2001 in Melbourne, Jet gained widespread acclaim with their debut album, “Get Born,” released in 2003. The band’s sound is characterized by powerful guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and a nostalgic nod to 60s and 70s rock.
Frontman Nic Cester said: “We are all very excited to work with the MSO to add another musical dimension to our catalogue. The opportunity to elevate the live experience was one we just couldn’t pass up. We’re going to rock the Bowl like never before!”
