Australian country music queen Kasey Chambers has announced a massive 2025 national tour which will see her play 30 gigs across Australia. She’ll be playing shows on her Backbone tour in Shepparton, Bendigo, Frankston, Sale, The Palms At Crown and Geelong in May/June 2025.
The tour is off the back of Chambers’ thirteenth album, Backbone, due for release on 4 October. She’s also launching a new book the same week called Just Don’t Be A Dickhead.
In a statement Chambers said: “I can’t wait to be sharing some new songs along with my old favourites and the stories and secrets behind where they came from, like never before. For me, the ˆˆBackbone tour already feels like the live soundtrack to my life.”
Kasey Chambers is a celebratedsinger-songwriter known for her unique blend of country, folk, and roots music. Chambers first gained widespread recognition with her 1999 debut album, The Captain, which showcased her raw, emotive voice and storytelling ability.
Her follow-up albums, including Barricades & Brickwalls (2001), solidified her status as one of Australia’s most prominent country artists, with hits like “Not Pretty Enough” and “On a Bad Day” crossing over into mainstream charts.
