Malvern will soon be home to a new watering hole – The Gardiner Hotel – located in the old National Bank building at the corner of Malvern and Wattletree Roads,
The neighbourhood pub will feature a ground level public bar and leafy rooftop terrace, and is set to become the go-to spot in the area for everything from long leisurely lunches to a quick mid-week catch up over a pint or glass of wine.
Venue Manager Scott Matthews says the entire community has been at the forefront of planning.
“Focusing on what would complement our neighbourhood has been really important to us throughout the entire process; think a traditional pub with modernised interiors and a warm and welcoming atmosphere,” he said.
The Gardiner Hotel, Malvern’s newest local, is slated to open later this year at 84 Glenferrie Road, Malvern. Website: www.gardinerhotel.com.au
