Preston Market‘s Latin Day Festival will make its highly anticipated return on Sunday 17 November 2024 after a five-year hiatus.
From 10am to 3pm, Melbourne’s favourite northside market will transform into a vibrant Latino party with traditional live entertainment, Latin American delicacies and free kids activities.
The stage will bring the rhythm and spirit of Latin America to life with an incredible lineup of performances from Brazilian samba dancers, dynamic three-piece mariachi band and breathtaking salsa dancers. The Brazilian dancers will not only showcase their captivating moves but will also roam around the market, offering photo opportunities throughout the day.

Attendees can expect a variety of mouthwatering dishes from pop-up food stalls featuring some of the best Latin cuisine. Savour the flavours of Brazilian BBQ from Brazos, enjoy the delights of Colombian fare from Colombian tojos and don’t miss Artesano Bakery’s famous Pandebono (Colombian cheese bread).
For those with a sweet tooth, Preston Market traders Cornutopia will be serving churros and gelato while Ms Venezuela will be offering authentic Venezuelan treats including pastelitos (Guava Pastelitos) and tequenos (Venezuelan Cheese Sticks).

Drinks will also be flowing, with local brewery Tallboy & Moose and gin experts Gindu providing refreshing beverages throughout the day.
There will also be plenty to keep the little ones entertained, with colourful face painting and pinata smashing activities from 11am – 2pm.
