Close to 130 First Peoples artists from across Victoria will be featured in the Koorie Art Show 12. This annual exhibition opens on Saturday 7 December at the Koorie Heritage Trust (KHT).
The Koorie Art Show is dedicated to showcasing the work of Koorie and Victorian-based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists through a statewide call for entries. These artists generously share their stories, culture, and connection to Country.
The exhibition will include a diverse range of mediums, such as painting, works on paper, photography, sculpture, multimedia, fibre art, and more.
The Koorie Art Show is an important platform for community to create and present their artworks to a broad audience. All entries will be displayed in a salon-style hang and available for sale.
