Canadian rapper and singer Drake has announced a string of highly anticipated tour dates in Australia and New Zealand in 2025 – returning after eight years.
The five-time grammy award winning multi-platinum artist will kick his Anita Max Win tour off on Sunday 9 February at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, and will back it up with a second night at the venue on Monday 10 February before stopping off at Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland.
This tour marks Drake’s first time back in the region since his 2017 Boy Meets World Tour and follows the immense success of Drake’s 2023/2024 It’s All A Blur Tour, which featured special guests 21 Savage and J. Cole. The tour wrapped up earlier this year after a massive 80 sold-out shows across North America.
Drake is a global superstar known for blending introspective lyrics with catchy melodies. He first rose to fame on the Canadian teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation before transitioning into music with his debut mixtape, Room for Improvement (2006).
His 2009 mixtape So Far Gone and debut album Thank Me Later (2010) solidified him as a music icon. With hits like “God’s Plan,” “Hotline Bling,” and “One Dance,” Drake has broken countless records, including most Billboard Hot 100 entries. His influence spans music, fashion, and pop culture worldwide.
