Geelong Arts Centre has announced its 2025 program, cementing its reputation as a hub of creativity and community for one of Australia’s fastest-growing regional cities.
Following a $180 million Victorian Government redevelopment, this cultural powerhouse—Australia’s largest regional arts venue—has set a bold vision for the year ahead with four carefully curated seasons: Family Magic 2025, Delightful Days and Matinees 2025, REWIRE 2025, and a program of iconic classics and cutting-edge productions.
Since its transformation, the centre has welcomed more than 256,000 visitors in 2023 and garnered prestigious accolades, including Performing Arts Centre of the Year at APAX and the Silver Cultural Victorian Tourism Award. Its architectural triumph has also received national acclaim, positioning Geelong Arts Centre as a world-class venue.
The 2025 lineup promises something for everyone. Family Magic 2025 will spark a love of the arts in children and families with seven heartfelt performances.
Meanwhile, Delightful Days and Matinees 2025 will bring some of Australia’s most beloved performers to Geelong, offering daytime shows complemented by complimentary morning tea. For those craving innovation, REWIRE 2025 promises a daring exploration of creativity through five boundary-pushing performances.
“Geelong isn’t just growing—it’s thriving,” said CEO Rhys Holden.
“Geelong Arts Centre has become a place where creativity and community collide unlike anywhere in Australia.
“This season brings powerful stories, made by Australia’s best artists and arts companies, right here to Geelong. Whether you’re a local, a Melburnian, or coming from further afield, there’s never been a better time to visit Geelong Arts Centre,” he said.
