The Australian Open is taking fan experiences to the next level with the debut of TOPCOURT, a cutting-edge precinct set to energise Birrarung Marr this summer.
Running every day during the main draw, TOPCOURT blends tennis, tech, pop culture, and premium entertainment into a one-of-a-kind destination that will redefine the AO fan experience, aimed at Gen Z tennis fans.
Game On powered by Fortress headlines the precinct, offering a gaming wonderland that includes VR Tennis, a fresh spin on 4-Square, Console Corner, and a Retro Arcade. From Fortnite and Rocket League to Topspin 2K25, fans can challenge friends or immerse themselves in next-gen gaming. This digital pavilion is a game-changer for tennis-loving gamers.
The heartbeat of TOPCOURT is Centre Stage, where hosts Louis Hanson and Lavender Baj bring daily entertainment. Highlights include Aux Court Battles, where audiences vote on the best playlists, and Tie Breaker DJ sets, featuring Nina Las Vegas going back-to-back with sports stars. Live music and podcast takeovers add to the vibrant atmosphere.
Beauty lovers can refresh at the MECCA Summer Club, offering glam transformations and curated products. Foodies will flock to TOP SNACC, a collaboration with Melbourne culinary icon Raph Rashid, serving bites from Beatbox Kitchen to All Day Donuts. Exclusive merch from brands like Ralph Lauren and Bondi Sands rounds out this ultimate festival of sport, style, and culture.
“TOPCOURT is an entirely fresh approach for the AO,” Tennis Australia Director of Product and Customer Experience Amanda Del Prete said.
“We’ve created a space where sport, music, gaming, food and culture collide, giving fans the freedom to explore and create their own unique experience. From gaming challenges to live entertainment, there’s something for everyone,” she said.
TOPCOURT is accessible on a Ground Pass, with a more affordable option available for fans aged 12 to 17, making it even easier to join the fun.
