Get ready to be wowed by the BIG Sculpture St Kilda Trail 2024-25, an open-air exhibition showcasing 21 large-scale contemporary sculptures by some of Victoria’s most prolific artists that’s on until 19 February 2025 transforming St Kilda into an outdoor gallery and offering a unique and immersive art experience.
The trail features works by renowned sculptors such as Adrian Spurr, Al Phemister, and Jason Hartcup, with pieces displayed in iconic locations like Acland Street Plaza, Robe Street, and the Veg Out Community Gardens.
Each sculpture tells its own story, inviting visitors to explore and engage with the art in a dynamic and interactive way,
Visitors can expect to see Adrian Spurr’s “Future Seed” at Acland Street Plaza, Al Phemister’s “Kern” at Acland Court, and Jason Hartcup’s “Upwardly” also at Acland Court.
Other highlights include Andre Sardone’s “Poised to Bloom” at Robe Street, Mark Stoner’s “I-STONE” at Linden New Art, and Mike Nicholls’ “Diving Figure” at Linden New Art. The Veg Out Community Gardens will host Brigit Heller’s “Bolbus” and Sal Lolicato’s “Phoenix Rising,” among others.
