Melbourne is rolling out the red carpet for UK pop legend Robbie Williams, as he makes a special appearance at Fed Square tomorrow, 2 January from 5 to 6pm to celebrate the release of his biopic, Better Man.
Fans are in for an unforgettable experience at this pop-up event as the superstar will share behind-the-scenes stories from the film and performs some of his iconic hits featured in the movie.
Set against the backdrop of Melbourne, where Better Man was filmed, the event will also see Williams honoured when Lord Mayor Nick Reece will present him with the Keys to the City, celebrating his artistic contributions and connection to the city.
Directed by Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman), Better Man chronicles Williams’ meteoric rise, turbulent fall, and inspiring comeback. The film stars Williams alongside Jonno Davies, Steve Pemberton, and Raechelle Banno, promising a gripping retelling of the pop icon’s life.
Presented by Fed Square, City of Melbourne, and Roadshow Films, the event is expected to draw huge crowds.
