Melbourne’s beloved St Kilda Festival is set to make a triumphant return on 15 and 16 February 2025, promising a weekend brimming with music, culture, and community spirit.
The festival has announced its initial lineup, headlined by the legendary Peter Garrett & The Alter Egos, alongside indie pop sensations Cub Sport and rising star Jem Cassar-Daley.
Peter Garrett, renowned for his dynamic presence as the frontman of Midnight Oil, will bring his unparalleled energy and activism to the stage with The Alter Egos, delivering a performance that melds classic hits with contemporary vigour.
Brisbane’s Cub Sport, celebrated for their emotive lyrics and captivating melodies, are set to enchant audiences with tracks from their latest releases.
Adding to the lineup is Jem Cassar-Daley, whose soulful voice and poignant songwriting have swiftly garnered acclaim, marking her as a talent to watch.
The festival’s Saturday program, “First Peoples First,” will spotlight Indigenous artists, celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of Australia’s First Nations through music and community events.
