The Europa! Europa Film Festival is set to return in 2025, offering a rich tapestry of European cinema to Australian audiences.
Scheduled from February 12 to March 12, the festival will take place at Ritz Cinemas in Sydney, as well as Classic Cinemas in Elsternwick and Lido Cinemas in Hawthorn.
The 2025 lineup boasts 44 films representing 26 European countries, providing a comprehensive look into the continent’s diverse storytelling traditions.

A highlight of the festival is the Four by Truffaut retrospective, featuring newly restored 4K versions of François Truffaut’s classics: Shoot the Piano Player, The Soft Skin, Two English Girls,”and Finally, Sunday! This segment offers a rare opportunity to experience the works of the French New Wave pioneer on the big screen.
There will also be discussions and community events, fostering a vibrant space for cinephiles to engage with European cinema. Tickets are available through the festival’s official website, with options for single sessions and multi-film passes.
