The Melbourne Guitar Show is turning up the volume in 2025 with its biggest event yet, now set in a brand-new venue at the Victoria Pavilion, Melbourne Showgrounds.
Taking place over the weekend of 1-2 March, this is more than just a guitar expo—it’s Australia’s premier celebration of music, bringing together world-class performances, cutting-edge gear, and workshops to inspire musicians of all ages and skill levels.
Producer of the Guitar Show, Alex Masso said this will be an unmissable event for guitar fans.
“We have picked up new ideas from our audience, brands, musicians and other events. Fans of the Melbourne Guitar Show will recognise it but we’re making the show even better for more people to enjoy,” Masso said.
This year’s show introduces exciting new features, including “quiet mornings” for a sensory-friendly experience and the debut of the Make Music program, offering workshops on guitar styles and songwriting.
Headlining the stellar lineup is Aussie powerhouse Dallas Frasca, along with Paul Dempsey, Minnie Marks, and flamenco guitarist Richard Tedesco.
For gearheads, the show is a dream come true, with everything from Fender’s dedicated showcase room to boutique Australian brands like Maton and Cole Clark Guitars. Explore, test, and buy the latest guitars, amps, and pedals—all under one roof.
“The guitar is still the most popular instrument and there’s a lot of tradition, innovation, and creativity in the world of guitars,” said Masso. “
“We’re showcasing the lot – local guitar heroes and lesser-known players, iconic global brands and new models from brands that are actually launching at our show.”
