Legendary Australian musician Ed Kuepper is set to embark on his “Solo At Last” tour in 2025, marking his return to solo performances after several years.
Keupper last toured nationally as a solo artist in 2019, with his bands the The Saints and Asteroid Ekosystem taking precedence in recent times, plus a collaboration with Dirty Three drummer Jim White.
In Victoria you’ll be able to catch him in April and May at Archie’s Creek, Brunswick, Frankston, Upwey and Birregurra.
The tour comes off the back of a new album After the Flood, recorded with Jim White in May 2023 and due to be released in March 2025.
Expect Keupper to play a mix of new songs and beloved classics from his extensive career with The Saints, Laughing Clowns, and his solo work.
In a statement, Keupper said: “We haven’t done this in years… time flies, surprisingly it’s been some years since I’ve done any solo shows, so lo and behold… that is what I’m going to do in April/May. I’ll be trying out some new songs, and deconstructing some audience favs and some older beloved tunes in a relatively loving and spontaneous way.”
