ARIA award-winning children’s entertainer, Emma Memma, has announced further dates this July for her brand-new show Dance Island Party. which will see her perform in several venues in regional Victoria.
Victorian fans will be able to catch the show in Warrnambool, Geelong, Shepparton, Bendigo and Ballarat.
Families will be treated to a sprinkling of Emma Memma’s classic songs featured in last year’s hugely successful Boop and Twirl Tour as well as new favourites like ‘Coconut Tree’, ‘Welcome to Dance Island’, ‘Beach Trolley’ and ‘Jellyfish Blob’ soon to be released on the new ‘Dance Island Party’ album.

Empowering the next generation through movement, creativity, inclusiveness, and friendship, Emma Memma with her love of dance, sign language and music, brings visual communication to the forefront of the children’s media space and fans will get to immerse themselves in this joyful experience on Emma Memma’s Dance Island Party Tour.
Emma will be joined by her friends including Elvin Melvin, BB Butterfly, Waffles the Wombat, and her Memma Mates who will be swimming, twirling, signing, and certainly partying!
Each 45-minute show will include an Auslan interpreter and Emma and Elvin will sign, and dance throughout the entire performance providing Auslan and English options for the audience.
Emma Memma is the alter-ego of dancer, filmmaker, and children’s entertainer Emma Watkins who began her career at age 3, training in ballet, Irish, hip-hop, tap, and contemporary dance.
After studying film at Sydney Film School and completing a masters at UTS, she joined The Wiggles in 2010, becoming the first female Wiggle (2013–2021). Passionate about sign language, Emma holds diplomas in Auslan and interpreting and serves on the Australian Government’s Early Years Strategy advisory board. She recently completed a PhD at Macquarie University, exploring sign language, dance, and film. Now touring with her ARIA-winning project Emma Memma, she promotes visual language with Deaf artist Elvin Lam, inspiring families to communicate through sign and gesture.
