Four Pillars Gin has teamed up with Lune Croissanterie to create a limited-edition gin that’s as indulgent as it sounds. Introducing Croissant Gin—a silky smooth spirit infused with the rich, caramelised aroma of Lune’s clarified butter, roasted almonds, wattle seed, nutmeg, and a hint of citrus.
“Lune croissants are made with nearly double the butter of your average croissant, so we knew that butter had to be a key part of the gin,” said Sarah Prowse, Four Pillars Head Distiller.
“It turns out there is a knack to distilling butter, but after a few trial distillations, we found our sweet spot. The nuts and spices add depth, the vanilla bean brings sweetness, and our signature organic oranges deliver brightness and balance.”
Lune Founder Kate Reid couldn’t be happier with the collaboration. “Infusing our Lune magic into my favourite gin was a dream come true,” she said.
“I can honestly say I’ve never been thirsty for a croissant before, but once you taste this gin, you’ll understand what I mean.”
