Australian country music icon Troy Cassar-Daley is set to perform at the Hawthorn Arts Centre on Thursday 6 March 2025, in collaboration with the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
With a career spanning more than three decades, Cassar-Daley has released 13 studio albums and achieved 33 number-one chart singles. His accolades include 45 Golden Guitar Awards and six ARIA Awards, underscoring his significant impact on the Australian music scene.
Cassar-Daley is a proud Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung man. His journey into music began early; at 11, he attended the Tamworth Country Music Festival and returned the following year as a busker. By 16, he was touring Northern New South Wales with his band, Little Eagle. His debut solo EP, “Dream Out Loud,” released in 1994, saw its title track reach number one on Australia’s country charts.
The upcoming Hawthorn concert promises an intimate experience, featuring songs that have resonated with audiences nationwide.
