Jimmy Barnes is back, and he’s as defiant as ever. Australia’s rock legend will hit the road in June 2025 along with a powerhouse nine-piece band for his six-date DEFIANT tour, celebrating the release of his 21st studio album of the same name.
“I’m really looking forward to getting back on stage with my band again,” Barnes said. “I’m so proud of this new record—all the songs mean a lot to me, and I can’t wait to share them with you. It’s going to be some serious fun!”

The DEFIANT album, set for release on 6 June, promises to be a raw and emotional journey, with the double-single ‘New Day’ dropping on 24 February. Inspired by his Southern Highlands home, the music reflects themes of resilience and hope, mirroring Barnes’ own life story.
With 21 number one albums under his belt—more than The Beatles—Barnes remains a towering figure in Australian music. From his days with Cold Chisel to his solo career, he’s delivered unforgettable hits like ‘Working Class Man’ and ‘Khe Sanh,’ earning him a place in the ARIA Hall of Fame twice.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on 28 February, with a Frontier Member presale starting 26 February. Don’t miss the chance to see one of Australia’s greatest rock icons live.
