After a 15-year hiatus, the Melbourne Motor Show is roaring back to life on 5-6 April 2025 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
This highly anticipated event will showcase more than 100 exhibitors, including 25 global car brands such as Tesla, Porsche, BYD, McLaren, Brabus, and Kia, alongside Subaru, MG, Peugeot and Harley-Davidson. Nine new car models—both electric and petrol—will make their debut, making this a must-attend event for car enthusiasts and families alike.
Event organiser Craig Phinn, who runs one of Melbourne’s largest prestige vehicle storage facilities, says he is thrilled to bring the iconic show back to life.
“Melbourne lost an institution when the last motor show wrapped in 2009,” he said. “We’re back with a bang this year, with something for adults and kids alike, for an outstanding day out.”
The show promises more than just cars. Families can enjoy a Hot Wheels Mega Racetrack, a LEGO automotive zone by Bricks of the World, and displays from Shannons, Red Bull, VicRoads, and the Australian Defence Force.
Test drives, motorsport demonstrations, off-road adventure builds, and even a Vic Emergency Electric Fire Truck will also keep visitors entertained.
