Australia’s premier food and drink festival is back, promising ten days of culinary excellence, innovative collaborations, and unforgettable experiences for food lovers across Victoria. Kicking off today and running until 30 March, the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, features more than 200 events showcasing the best of local and international cuisine.
The festival begins in grand style with the iconic World’s Longest Lunch, where acclaimed chef Curtis Stone will craft a three-course feast for hundreds of guests seated along a 600-metre table in Melbourne’s Kings Domain.
Other highlights include the revamped World’s Longest Brunch, curated by beloved cook Julia Busuttil Nishimura, and the Global Dining Series, which welcomes 20 international chefs to Victoria.
New additions to this year’s program include Feast at Flemington Racecourse, transforming the Australian Cup race day into a culinary showcase, and a plant-based bake-off between vegan chefs Shannon Martinez and Philip Khoury. Meanwhile, the popular Baker’s Dozen at Fed Square expands with live croissant-making from Lune and appearances by Melbourne’s top bakers.
“This festival is a true celebration of what makes Victoria a global food destination—exceptional produce, world-class chefs, and an incredible dining culture,” said Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Steve Dimopoulos.
