Victoria’s defence, aviation, and aerospace industries are set to soar at the 2025 Avalon Australian International Airshow. From 25-30 March, Avalon Airport will host the Southern Hemisphere’s largest aviation and defence exhibition, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors and showcasing the latest innovations from around the globe.
The event kicks off with an industry trade show (25-28 March), where local companies like SYPAQ, Corvus Technology Solutions, and Marand will exhibit alongside global giants such as Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems. The Victorian Pavilion will highlight 70 small and medium-sized businesses, connecting them with international decision-makers and unlocking new opportunities.
From 28-30 March, the public airshow takes flight with three days of breathtaking aerial displays featuring military and civil aircraft. Visitors can get up close to the planes, meet the teams behind them, and experience the thrill of aviation firsthand.
Last held in 2023, the Airshow drew a record 248,000 attendees and injected $240.7 million into Victoria’s economy. This year, extra V/Line services and shuttle buses will ensure smooth travel to and from the event.
