Australian pop-rock duo Lime Cordiale are gearing up for the tour of a lifetime, announcing yesterday the Lime Cordiale with the Symphony Orchestra tour—an electrifying live experience that will see their hits reimagined alongside some of Australia’s most prolific orchestras.
Melbourne audiences will be able to see them at Hamer Hall, playing alongside the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, on 11 and 12 September 2025.
Teaming up with acclaimed conductor Vanessa Scammell (Birds of Tokyo, The Cat Empire) and orchestrator Alex Turley (Genesis Owusu, Dan Sultan), the brothers Oliver and Louis Leimbach will take the stage with an 80-piece orchestra, breathing new life into fan favorites like Robbery, Temper Temper, and Dirt Cheap.
“With a cello-playing mum, we grew up playing classical clarinet and trumpet,” the duo shared. “The band came together while Oli was studying at the Conservatorium, and playing in concert bands and orchestras was a big part of Lime Cordiale’s beginnings.”
For the brothers, this tour is a full-circle moment. “This is a major bucket-list tick for us,” they admitted. “It’s scary and intimidating, but our inner band nerds are all for it! We can’t wait to dive into some epic orchestral arrangements of our songs.”
Already in the midst of a packed 2025 schedule—including a US tour and dates supporting Tash Sultana—Lime Cordiale are proving they’re always pushing boundaries. Now, they’re blending their indie-pop roots with classical grandeur for an unforgettable live experience.
Pre-sale tickets are available now, with general sale starting 10 AM AEDT Thursday, 27 March.
