British comedian Jimmy Carr is returning to Australia in 2026 to shock, offend, and most importantly, make you laugh. Thecomedy maestro is bringing his brand-new show, Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny, down with a massive 21-date tour spanning February to May.
Known for his razor-sharp wit and no-holds-barred humour, Carr has built a global reputation for pushing boundaries. His jokes aren’t for the easily offended, but for fans of edgy, fast-paced comedy, this tour is a must-see.
Rising to fame in the early 2000s, Carr became a staple of British comedy with stand-up specials, panel shows, and hosting gigs. He has released numerous acclaimed stand-up specials, often featuring edgy, rapid-fire jokes.
Carr is best known for hosting 8 Out of 10 Cats and its spin-offs, cementing his place in British television. His comedy, though sometimes controversial, has earned him a devoted following. Beyond stand-up, he has authored books and participated in various media projects, showcasing his versatility in entertainment.
Fresh off his record-breaking Terribly Funny tour—which reportedly drew 1.2 million fans worldwide and included a string of dates at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall —Carr is set to deliver another round of his signature dark, cringe-worthy, and hilariously brutal one-liners.
This time, Carr will be performing to fans at John Cain Arena on 6 May 2026. He’ll also be doing shows in March in Bendigo and Geelong.
