A new star has risen in Melbourne’s vibrant dining scene as Duke Lane throws open its doors in Windsor, transforming the former Saigon Sally space into a celebration of Latin American flavors and communal dining.
This laneway-inspired restaurant and bar delivers bold culinary fusions alongside an electric atmosphere that honors life’s precious moments.

“Duke Lane comes from a deeply personal place,” explains founder Dijon Gordon.
“Losing my brother reminded me to cherish every moment. I wanted to create a space that embodies celebration, connection, and joy – with great music, an electric ambience, and food designed to be shared,” he said.

The share-style menu dances between Latin tradition and Melbourne modernity, featuring standout dishes like Arepitas with slow-cooked beef brisket, Parmesan Potato Balls (a gourmet twist on arancini), and flame-grilled Porterhouse with signature spice rub. Adventurous diners can savor sesame-crusted tuna with plantain chips before indulging in the legendary Tres Leches cake.
The beverage program matches the kitchen’s innovation with craft cocktails and a playful Dessert Shot Menu featuring whimsical creations like the Churro Shot.

The venue’s street-art-adorned location and upmarket-yet-relaxed interior create the perfect backdrop for Gordon’s vision: “Whether you’re here for dinner or just signature shots, we want every visit to feel memorable.”
With its fusion of heartfelt hospitality and bold flavors, Duke Lane is poised to become Windsor’s new gathering place for food lovers and celebration seekers alike.
