This September, Fed Square is home to RESET – a month-long festival focussing on biodiversity, connecting with nature, and promoting easy and practical ways to live more sustainably.
RESET is a free series of family-friendly interactive events and workshops designed to make sustainable living both fun and practical for families and individuals. Learn about waste minimisation, sustainable home solutions, conservation and backyard ecology, and the art of reducing, reusing and recycling through a range of immersive experiences.
Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation Director & CEO, Katrina Sedgwick OAM, said RESET was designed to inspire positive change in the community while sparking the imagination of young and old.
“The festival blends art, culture, science and learning together in a family-friendly celebration of looking after our planet.”
“We’re thrilled to host an event which can help people to start or strengthen their sustainability journey. Life gets busy – this program spotlights accessible ways people can make positive changes in their day-to-day lives, with a focus on helping families empower the next generation to care for our planet,” she said.
Running from 2 – 27 September, RESET will feature a range of much-loved activations returning to Fed Square:
