Running from 8 June to 21 July, this mesmerizing digital light experience, created by acclaimed Indigenous artist Wayne Quilliam, promises to transport visitors on a journey spanning 60,000 years of dreaming.
Prepare to be captivated by stunning light installations and entrancing soundscapes in the different Dreaming Zones, where you’ll explore the beauty of flowers, the dance of fire and water, and the majesty of land and animals. This unique event is not only a feast for the senses but also a celebration of Aboriginal culture and connection to the land.
Journey through the Gumbuya Gathering, beginning with a vibrant Smoking Ceremony at the entrance, and continue through shifting colours and dynamic lighting to the Dreaming Field, where shimmering flowers await. Explore the Fire & Water zones, where lasers guide you along the Water/Fire River, and experience the captivating Fire Dance performance.
In the Land & Animals zones, marvel at the talking trees and immerse yourself in the cave of smoke.
Throughout your journey, you will be able to experience Gumbuya World’s thrilling rides and mouth-watering delights from a range of food trucks.
