The George Pentland Botanical Gardens in Frankston are set to be transformed into a magical realm of light and wonder this Spring.
From 5 September to 6 October 2024, visitors can immerse themselves in an illuminated sculpture walk at Magic by Moonlight, featuring more than 400 light installations and 30,000 light bulbs.
With over 16 years of expertise in decorative and architectural lighting, the event creators are renowned for their mastery in 3D decorative sculptures for theme parks and entertainment venues.
Expect larger-than-life experiences that will ignite imaginations and create cherished memories throughout the festival.
Magic by Moonlight will feature four themed magical realms: Fairy Land, Dinosaur Land, Underwater World and Animal Kingdom.
“Magic by Moonlight is all about sparking imaginations and spreading joy to families and visitors of all ages. As a father of two young children, I’ve experienced first hand the enchantment that a child’s imagination can bring,” said Sam Crocker, Magic by Moonlight Organiser.
“We are incredibly excited to transform George Pentland Gardens into a magical wonderland to nurture these imaginations. With over 30,000 lights and 400 spectacular installations, this year will be our biggest and brightest yet.”
“We are also proud to be able to support our local hospital, Peninsular Health. A portion of our sales will help support their paediatric ward, making sure the magic of this event reaches further beyond the gardens,” said Sam.
A range of food trucks and beverage stands will be available each evening, offering a wide selection of options, particularly tailored to families and children.
