Tame is an Australian activist and advocate for survivors of sexual assault. She gained prominence after courageously sharing her own experience of abuse. Tame was named the 2021 Australian of the Year in recognition of her tireless advocacy. Despite facing immense challenges, she has used her voice to raise awareness, fight for justice, and empower others.
Tame’s fight for survivors of child sexual assault has sparked a national conversation. Now, she’ll share her experiences navigating the public eye, the triumphs and challenges of establishing the Grace Tame Foundation, the ongoing fight against child sexual abuse in Australia.
