DAHLIN! IT’S THE JEANNE LITTLE SHOW is coming to the Shirley Burke Theatre at the Kingston Arts Centre this November – a tribute to the iconic Australian entertainer.
Melbourne performer Caroline Ferguson will take centre stage in this high-energy show, weaving together Jeanne Little’s rise from humble beginnings to Gold Logie fame in 1976 and finally her long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Known for her vibrant personality and wild costumes, Jeanne became a TV sensation on The Mike Walsh Show in the 70s and 80s, interviewing stars like Bob Hawke and Tom Selleck. Her unorthodox career led her to cabaret, theatre, and an enduring legacy in Australian media.
Written and directed by Kieran Carroll, the show features hit songs by Marilyn Monroe and Marlene Dietrich, complementing the story of Jeanne’s life.
Ferguson, a seasoned Melbourne performer, brings Jeanne’s unforgettable energy to life in this fitting homage to one of Australia’s most beloved entertainers.
