Oasis are set to play shows in Melbourne and Sydney next year, according to Rolling Stone Magazine. The recently reformed Britpop supergroup will bring their OASIS LIVE ‘25 World Tour to Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Friday 31 October 2025, followed by a show at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Friday, 7 November 2025.
While these dates haven’t been officially confirmed by Oasis or Live Nation, we’re just gonna, um, roll with it.
Rolling Stone also claims that there may be additional Aussie shows added to the tour schedule if demand for tickets is similar to the apetite for their sold-out UK and North American dates.
One of the most iconic British rock bands of the 1990s and 2000s, Oasis broke up in 2009 due to a long-standing feud between the two brothers who led the band, Liam and Noel Gallagher.
Their volatile relationship, marked by personal and professional disagreements, had been a recurring issue throughout the band’s career. After the split, both brothers pursued their own musical projects. Noel formed Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, while Liam formed Beady Eye and later launched a successful solo career.
Oasis reunited a few months back after years of rumours and speculation. The reunion surprised fans who had long followed the Gallagher brothers’ infamous feud. While there hasn’t been a definitive reason given for their decision to reconcile, several factors likely contributed to it.
The 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking albums Definitely Maybe (1994) and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?(1995) provided a nostalgic moment for the band to reflect on their legacy.
The upcoming tour will be the first time the brothers have played in Australia as Oasis in 20 years – last touring in 2005.
An official Australian tour announcement including ticket details is expected next week.
