There’s less than a week to go until Christmas, and the Bureau of Meteorology has issued its Christmas forecast so Aussies can start their festive season preparations with the likely weather in mind.
The Bureau says that Victoria can expect a warm, dry, and settled day, with temperatures near or above average.
The Christmas day forecast for Melbourne is mostly sunny with a minimum of 14°C and maximum of 28°C.
In the regions:
- Ballarat can expect a minimum of 9°C and a maximum of 32°C.
- Bendigo can expect a minimum of 11°C and a maximum of 33°C.
- Geelong can expect a minimum of 13°C and a maximum of 28°C
- Horsham can expect a minimum of 11°C and a maximum of 35°C.
- Mildura can expect a minimum of 14°C and a maximum of 36°C .
- Shepparton can expect a minimum of 12°C and a maximum of 34°C.
- Swan Hill can expect a minimum of 13°C and a maximum of 36°C.
- Traralgon can expect a minimum of 11°C and a maximum of 29°C.
- Wangaratta can expect a minimum of 10°C and a maximum of 34°C.
- Warrnambool can expect a minimum of 11°C and a maximum of 27 °C.
