Cherished Australian craft brewer, Little Creatures, has unveiled its newly renovated brewery and hospitality venue in South Geelong. The $4 million transformation seamlessly blends the brewery’s rich heritage with an exciting new vision for the future.
Nestled within the iconic Valley Worsted Mills, the upgraded facility includes a $3 million enhancement of brewing capabilities—introducing new ready-to-drink production alongside its renowned craft beer operations.
Additionally, the $1 million redesign of the hospitality space offers an inviting, community-focused craft beer destination for locals and visitors alike.
Brewing Leader at Little Creatures Geelong, Dennis Stewart, said the brewery is commited to both innovation and community.
“Little Creatures has been an integral part of Geelong for the past decade, and this significant investment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter,” he said.
“We’ve expanded our production to include RTDs, while creating a venue that pays homage to our industrial roots and fosters the welcoming atmosphere of your favourite local pub.”
The revitalised venue is designed to cater to a variety of guests, from families to craft beer aficionados, with capacity for over 400 people. At its heart is a new tap bar, surrounded by a modern canteen, flexible function spaces, and an expanded outdoor area perfect for al fresco dining.
The design balances historic features—such as exposed brick walls and industrial accents— with warm, natural finishes, improved lighting and thoughtfully restored furniture throughout the revamped canteen and laneway hospitality areas, creating a comfortable yet vibrant atmosphere that encourages visitors to open up a little.
Visitors can also enjoy guided brewery tours to explore the upgrades and learn about the brewing process. Regular events, live music, and community celebrations further enhance the venue as a dynamic hub for Geelong’s social life.
Little Creatures Geelong is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 to late, and Sundays from 11:00 to 17:00, and is located at 221 Swanston St, Geelong.
