The Australian and English women’s cricket teams are set to shine under lights as they play a one-off Test for Ashes glory in a day-night match at the MCG from 30 January.
The traditional rivals will meet in a series of one-day and T20 matches interstate before the main event, a four-day pink ball day-night Ashes Test at the MCG, the home of Aussie cricket, between Thursday 30 January and Sunday 2 February 2025.
The historic game celebrates the 90th anniversary of the first women’s Test between the two nations and is the first women’s Test to be played at the MCG since 1949. It will also be the first time the Aussie women have played at the G since their T20 World Cup victory over India in 2020.
Play for each of the four days begins at 2.30pm.
