Melbourne, it’s time to polish your gravestones and dust off your Ouija boards—Beetlejuice the Musical is haunting the Regent Theatre this May! The full cast has now been revealed for the Australian premiere of this wildly irreverent musical, based on Tim Burton’s cult classic film.
Leading the spooky spectacle is Eddie Perfect as the mischievous Beetlejuice, alongside Karis Oka as the goth teen Lydia Deetz. They’re joined by music theatre royalty Elise McCann as Barbara and Rob Johnson as Adam, the recently deceased couple haunting Lydia’s new home. Erin Clare shines as the eccentric Delia, with Tom Wren as her clueless husband, Charles.
The ghoulish ensemble also includes Noni McCallum, Rebecca Ordiz, Angelique Cassimatis, Andy Conaghan, and Adam Lyon, alongside a talented supporting cast.
Director Alex Timbers said, “Australia has some of the finest musical theatre actors in the world, and this cast has the precise mix of wit, heart, and irreverent comedic gifts to bring Beetlejuice to life.”
With a score by Eddie Perfect, dazzling sets, and jaw-dropping special effects, Beetlejuice promises to be a hilarious, chaotic ride. New tickets will be summoned from the Netherworld on 20 February—don’t miss your chance to join the madness!
“Melbourne is going to go wild for this brilliant production,” said producer Michael Cassel. “We cannot wait for you to meet this incredible cast.”
