Prepare your taste buds for an extraordinary culinary journey as Meatmaiden, one of Melbourne’s premier steakhouses, partners with the esteemed Swedish steakhouse, Restaurang AG, for an exclusive four-hands dining event. Marking The Rare Tour’s debut in Australia, this event promises to redefine steakhouse dining.
The Rare Tour, a spin-off from The World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants, celebrates world-class chefs, immersive steak education, and expert grilling techniques in top-tier steak restaurants worldwide.

For three consecutive nights, Meatmaiden and Restaurang AG (No. 9 on the 2024 World’s Best list) will merge their unique styles—AG’s Scandinavian finesse and Meatmaiden’s bold, high-energy approach—to push the boundaries of steakhouse dining while honoring the craft of steak at its finest.

Designed for steak enthusiasts and food lovers, the limited-edition dining series will feature a meticulously curated menu of rare cuts and exclusive pairings.
Highlights include The Flinstone, AG’s inventive bone marrow entree, a playful twist on Meatmaiden’s classic Lobster Mac Cheese, and the show-stopping 70+ day Tallow-Aged Stone Axe Wagyu Rib Eye 9+ as the main course.

Meatmaiden owner Neil Hamblen expressed his excitement: “We’re thrilled The Rare Tour is coming to Melbourne and honored to host its Australian debut. This menu will be a rollicking, fun experience showcasing contrasting styles and energy.”
The Rare Tour dining series offers 500 limited tickets across three days, from 29 April to 1 May. Secure your spot today at meatmaiden.com.au for $240 per person.
