The Federal Government has given the green light for Melbourne Airport’s third runway which will reduce flight delays, increase airline competition and give the Victorian economy a boost. Transport Minister Catherine King has approved the Major Development Plan for the project, which paves the way for detailed design and construction to start on the $3 billion project.
